With July 4th fast approaching, I’m sure many Americans are getting ready for celebrations. Here is a super quick bunting pattern. You may recognize it from Canada day post last week. The only difference is stars instead of maple leaves.

Star pattern:

Worked in rounds, do not turn.

  1. Start with a magic loop, ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), 2 dc, ch 3, *3 dc, ch3, repeat from * 3 more times, sl st in the top of 3-ch.
  2. Ch 3, *3 dc in the next 3-ch sp, ch 3, 3 dc in the same sp, repeat from * 3 more times, 3 dc in the next 3-ch so, ch 3, 2 dc in the same sp, sl st in the top of 3-ch.
  3. Ch 1, sc in the same sp, ch 1, *3 dc in the next 3-ch sp, ch 2, picot, ch 1, 3 dc in the same sp, ch 1, sk next 3 dc, sc in the sp before the next 3 dc, ch 1, repeat from * 4 more times until you get to the 1st sc, sl st, bind off.

For the flags check out my Canada day post.

Enjoy!
