This blocky stitch would be great for blankets or outerwear. It’s almost like a symmetrical granny stitch. It’s a lovely graphic stitch. Here’s how it’s done:
Ch multiple of 4 plus 2
- Sc in 2nd ch from hk, *ch 3, sk 3 ch, sc in next ch; repeat from * across, turn
- Ch 3, 3 dc in each ch-3 sp across, dc in last sc, turn
- Ch 1, sc in 1st dc, ch 3, sk 3 dc, *sc between previous and next dc, ch 3, sk 3 dc; repeat from * across to t-ch, sc in top of t-ch, turn
Repeat rows 2-4 to desired length.
Hope everyone is enjoying their Tuesday. I’d love to know what kind of stitches you guys like lacy or graphic. Let me know in the comments.
