Stitch Tuesday – Waffle Stitch

This stitch is very dense and would make for a warm sweater or blanket. It’s one of those stitches you can really get carried away with. Here’s how it’s done:

Ch multiple of 4 plus 3

  1. Dc in the 4th ch from hook and in each ch across, turn
  2. Ch 3, sk 1st st, *FPdc in each of next 3 dc, dc in next st; repeat from * across ending with 3 FPdc in each of next 3 sts, dc in top of t-ch, turn
  3. Ch 3, sk 1st st, *dc in each of the next sts, FPdc in the next st; repeat from * across ending with dc in each of the next 3 sts, dc in top of t-ch, turn

Repeat rows 2-3 until desired length.

Winter is coming! What are you working on to stay warm out there?
