The Teardrop Honeycomb Vase by Sunsum® is a hand-cast gypsum vessel with a raised honeycomb relief wrapped around a soft teardrop silhouette, finished in gloss gypsum white. The narrow neck concentrates the eye on the textured body, letting the honeycomb pattern carry the visual weight. It's the kind of object that looks simple from across the room and reveals itself slowly up close.

What I love about it

The honeycomb relief is genuinely tactile — you want to pick it up and run your fingers across it. The teardrop silhouette is soft and organic, a nice counterpoint to the geometric pattern. At 5" it's the right size for a bedside table, a bathroom shelf, or a windowsill — present without overwhelming. The 1/2" neck is sized for a single stem or a delicate dried bundle, not reed diffusers, which keeps the focus on the vessel itself. Handmade in small batches, so slight variations in texture are part of its character.
