Vanilla Strawberry™ is a panicle hydrangea prized for its enormous, cone-shaped flower clusters that open vanilla-white in midsummer, blush to pink as they mature, and deepen to rich strawberry-red as the season cools. Because new blooms keep opening above the aging ones, a single plant carries a tapestry of cream, pink, and red all at once. It forms a strong, upright shrub 6 to 8 feet tall with reddish stems that hold the heavy panicles beautifully, and the dried flower heads linger for winter interest long after the leaves drop.
